Moscow drowns in nostalgia
Of spring and sunny rivers,
Of Sokolniki with its soft lilacs
And Bulgakov’s ‘yellow flowers’.
A foreigner is sad in Nice,
She’s always thinking of Chagall’s paintings…
Nostalgia walks barefoot
Nonchalantly singing of love.
